About Hybrid Gas Permeable Lenses
The central 8-12mm is made out of breathable rigid polymers and the outer 4-6mm is made out of soft breathable silicone hydrogel. These bi-annual replacement lenses combine the comfort of soft contact lenses and the crisp optics of corneal gas permeable contact lenses. Also an option for patients who cannot adapt to scleral lenses.
